Do you have a link? Because when I did a search for MKIV Turbo...this is what I found. Thanks.

You must be a lucky guy to have found the only "bent" one ever sold on Ebay! Every search I do turns up the straight type - whether they are the cheap Chinese ones or the Tanabes...the are all straight. Do you have another source?

FYI to anyone who cares. Despite what others have said I went ahead and ordered the 93-97 Toyota Supra straight STB off of ebay and it fit no problem. Only weird thing is since I have the factory air sus on my '98 there are these HUGE strut tower caps that the base of the STB would not fit over - so I just removed those and it dropped right on; no bending, no spacer, nada. Cheers. Hiroshi

Is the riser seated completely flat on the tower? Looks like there is a gap in these pics.

yeah it looks like there's washers or something between the mounts and the shock towers, negating pretty much any of the little benefit of the bar as the load is spread out over all of 3 points.

That's the test fit, using the cap nuts. Didn't want to unbolt the shock until I knew for sure it fit. It's flush now.

for future readers, that is indeed a mkiv supra turbo strut bar, the NAs are straight across, without the 2 mild bends.

I found this on one of the Club Lexus Vendor sites. It's a bit pricey but it should bolt right in.

theres also the tanabe supra front strut tower brace, but supposedly it wont clear the engine cover if you want it to fit. my question is what kinda of 1/4" spacer would one need? and where can you find them?

The spacers were custom cut so finding them off the shelf will not be likely. Not difficult with hand tools: jig/saber saber saw, drill, drill bits or hole saw can be used. On the smaller eBay bars, they are fairly easy to bend to give clearance.

sadly, i dont have access to any tools like that. just basic hand tools. i have the tanabe supra stb, so i dont mind installing it without the engine cover.

Can anyone confirm that a strut brace that fits a UCF10, would fit a UCF20? There's a guy, somewhat-local to me who is selling one on the cheap. Says it's an "eBay front strut bar."
