Hi this will be my first post but recently I got a code to replace my shift solenoid A on my 1995 Lexus Ls400(code p0735)

im not new to diy car work but I’m just a bit confused on which solenoid is which, I’ve looked at graphs and everything but it says s1 or s2. I don’t know how they correlate. If someone could help me on a proper graph or highlight the one I need to replace that would be awesome.

last question is do I have to unplug/unscrew any of the other solenoids to get to “A” or can I just go straight to it?

If there’s anyway someone can leave a link to a video and the correct part I need to order that would be wonderful!

 

I often wondered about the inconsistent solenoid references too.
