Thoughts please!
Help! So I looked at a LS400, 1994. It is said to have 75,000 Km on it. It looks in AMAING condition, engine sounds amazing and amazing trans. I used to own one many many years ago and since had the last of the LS400 97 and then stupidly brought a 2006 LS460L. That was a terrible choice. But anyay, There are issues and I am not sure if I will be biting off more than i want to chew.
Dashboard Cluster : the ABS, Brakes, Voolant, Parking Brake all remain on. The Fuel Guage reads zero and I also noticed the temperature was not reading properly also.
Now I have read a few post and see that the petrol level is a chip likely blown on the cluster as the petrol light does come on. Howver... ALL these lights stay on and I was only worried when i took it for a drive knowing this will be all replacement chips if I can find someone good to solder new ones on... However the ABS was not working. That was the final straw. Any thoughts please? I would have brought the car in a heartbeart if it was only the dash cluster (still worried) but then i managed to lock it up testing the ABS I did start to worry a lot more. Thoughts?? Car is in Thailand as am I also.

75km = 46miles, means the car has been sitting for a significant portion of it's life. Most likely it's been in the last decade. I'd be careful. Sitting neglected is pretty awful for the car. Low miles are a good thing, up to a point.
Ideally you want a car that's been regularly used. Since new. At least once a month, ideally once a week. A car which has only been driven 500 miles in the last decade is going to be nothing but problems.
Were you able to drive the car? You didn't mention anything about drivability. Or were all those problems just from putting the key into the ignition. Did the motor even start? Does the suspension make noise? Are the motor mounts in 1 piece still? Has the ECU been repaired, which can cause a lot of the dashboard issues.
