2000 LS400 Serpentine belt shredding
I've replaced it twice with two different brands, but something is causing it to shred the sides of the belt. Do I need to adjust a pulley? Do I need to replace something? Please help thank you
It looks like something might be causing it to get pushed off the pulleys causing it to get frayed.

Q: Are you positioning the belt on the pulleys properly on installation? Your image shows the belt isn't on the outermost rib on the pulley. Or is this happening after the belt is run for a while?

As mentioned, pulley inspection.
Just curious - why was the belt replaced in the first place?
