Default 95 LS400 differences between instrument cluster versions?

My instrument cluster finally flickered to death and I've lost all backlighting, needles, and odometer lighting, so time for a replacement. My current cluster is 83010-50600 and is pretty bare bones on features - no vehicle traction or air suspension. The selection on eBay for an exact replacement is pretty bare. I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between the part numbers - I see a lot of 83010-50602's and 83010-50601's available. The rear plugs all look the same and the front cluster view looks the same as well. Looking at the service manuals, it seems like the main thing to watch out for might be Canadian versions since they have different headlight specs, but I don't know what parts correspond to Canadian...

My current cluster had scorched circuit board issues for last few years, and I managed to cut traces and rewire around it, but this time nothing looks wrong. My climate control lighting flickered along with it, so I may try a capacitor replacement on it sometime, but need something in the meantime since I don't have a spare car.

Thanks!

the obvious difference is that the canadian would be in KPH instead of MPH.

i believe for the most part any cluster from 95-97 will work; where you just won't have the lights for the air suspension setting. don't get a 98-00 since it will have a different transmission gear provisions as well as the obvious lower display panel that this lacking on the earlier models.

Don't all the 95-97 speedometer's show both KPH and MPH?

Any way, spent several hours poring over ebay listings and pictures and discovered that there seems to be two primary sets of instrument clusters, one with a wider orange and narrower blue connector, and one with a narrower orange and wider blue connector. To add to my frustration, I see postings for one part number in description, and a different part number in photos. Also ran into multiple postings with pictures of the same part numbers, but they have different orange/blue connectors.

So far, for my 83010-50600, seems like the 83010-50590 has same connectors, except it adds the TRAC OFF and VSC indicators. Everything else seems to have different connectors, and some don't seem to have CRUISE bulb installed and some have an extra 2-pin connector.

Interesting, I too seem to have a light for HEIGHT HI, but I don't have a height control switch next to my ECT PWR switch.

But yeah, I bought mine used in 2003 and promptly had to shell out for a leaky power steering system and rear suspension because I didn't know any better :-)

I don't have an indoor parking space for my car so at this point it looks like a total beater. Clearcoat is peeled, leather seats are all cracked, radio LCD is blacked out and unit randomly functions, starter sometimes missed, water pump is leaking, motor mounts are shot, EGR pipe is probably slightly cracked (but not enough that I can't pass California smog test). I'd be willing to upgrade to a newer Lexus, but after 2008, all the cars have that awful forward angled headrest that causes me incredible neck and shoulder pain since I'm 6'4".
