updated hotel info for those traveling out of town

 

where the hell were you guys from Indy tonight?

 

It'll be rain on and off today. I don't think I'll be coming out. I will go tomorrow to the track and Sunday to the BBQ.

 

I wish I could attend but I'm in the middle of doing an engine swap. The motor should arriving tomorrow afternoon and the swap should only take about 12 hours so I'll see if Sunday's bbq is doable. Hopefully it is.

 

little update: due to the rain we are going to move the cruise to Sunday (times will be determined soon). For tomorrow, if you want to run your car, BE THERE BY 12 NOON!!

Turnout is down so far due to the weather, did have fun at Sound Performance!

12 noon, meet at Lake Forest Oasis to Cruise to:

Ascension Catholic Cemetary
1920 Buckley Road
Libertyville, IL 60048

Pay respects to Nelson and we have a small surprise for his grave.

From there, we will cruise to:



Until about 6-7pm, then we will cruise to downtown to finish up everything.

rain has stopped here in Chicago, but not up north. Cross your fingers for some dry weather!

 

sadly we couldn't make it out to BWW due to some weird "detour" to a bad side of town...had fun at the track, not much else sadly....

 

Well Chi2k9 is in the books, sadly it wasn't as awesome as some of us wanted but with our group we got the most out of it we could. With some things happening in the backround things kinda lost control and the rain really didn't help things out either. Had fun out at the dyno and the track, next year we'll have things set up better and get some stuff out at the meet. Thanks again to Adrian and all the others that help set this up!

BTW wanted to say hi to the SC400 from Sat. night...didn't get a name (had a tail light mod and some rims, exhaust?), but had some fun out on the streets!
