Question Stock color temp change for HID

I have '00 ES HID's for my '98 ES. While the beam pattern and cutoff are better than simply installing HID's in the halogen version headlights, I'm not 100% sure if I like the color. When the lights first turn on they are a deep blue/purple(which I like), then after a while they gradually turn almost all white and a little towards the blue side. I know that this is normal but I wonder what effect 6000k bulbs would have in a housing designed for 4300k?
I like the bluer startup color but I am afraid that putting higher color temp bulbs in will affect the brightness. Also is the startup color comparable at all to what a 6000k bulb would look like after warmup?

thanks to anyone who responds...(and who can follow this thread!!)

well it will look more blue. on the road i think it will just be as bright, i don't see it being too much dimmer than the 4100k from what i saw.
