Default phillips d2r

i was thinking about upgrading my HID BULBS..... one of my friends just got an HID kit for gs300 and the bulbs of 6000k compared to my 4100k are awsome.... you see everything. so i already have HID's i dont need a whole kit but just the bulbs anybody know a good place to get them and i prefer phillips and also for a good price. i dotn want to pay $300 for bulbs when a whole kit is $400. so im lookin for around $200 if possible. thanks guys.

I am on the same quest as you, but I doubt very much that you will find any for the price you are looking for.

Here's what I have found so far

http://www.hid-online.com/products/products.asp?id=54

That price is for only 1 bulb!!

Thanks Henry!! I just sent him an email. Are the bulbs this guys carries - Philips Ultinon's or something else? I just hope they are very reliable bulbs. I don't want to have to replace them within the year.

I can't believe the price of a sinlge bulb on the auto-lamp site!!

Anyone try Ebay? Just do a search under D2R and viola. Check the seller's feedback and if things look great from other customers GO!

I just picked up my second set of HID bulbs for $65.00 shipped striaght from Germany.
4300K D2S Philips
Brand New and much brighter than my 4100K Osrams. I used the Osrams for 6 months and they have around 10 hours of burn in time so they're pretty new. However, the Philips gave me what I need and I got them pretty quickly.

Just ordered a pair of Philips D2R 6000K HID bulbs from this guy - US$259.99 shipped to Canada. Still expensive but definitely less than what auto-lamps was asking for. ($350.00

Thanks Henry!!

Hameed, I turned up two results in my search on EBAY. I just put in D2R, and found them for 32.9 each.

you don't have hid now right? if that's the case then you dn't have to worry about d2r or d2s, coz' they aer not going to fit at all. they are only for headlights that are already hid equipped. you need hid kits (9006 i believe?) or hid retrofit. if you already have hid, then it depends on whether you have projective or reflective housing. if you have projective housing, it's d2s, if you have reflective, it's d2r
