I have been running this set-up for over Six months and no problems.I took the stock fogs and installed them into the side markers then coverted the oringal fog light area into daylite runners that stay on when the head lights are on ......Making it a total of six bulbs running at once(they are all after market bulbs). The heat factor is a little hotter than normal.....and no damage so far.
