Excellent, I'll look forward to your pics, if you're able. Tell me again the cost you got? I understand the 6k's are about 20 percent less bright than the 4500's. But I suppose the 6000k's would still be bright enough. Honestly with the government cracking down, my only concern about the 6000k's is that the purple would be a cop's dream. But they look so great!
I dont know about 20 precent less bright, my bro has a RX300 with OEM HID's and my 6K is way BRIGHTER then the OEM and color looks alot better too,These 6Ks are BRIGHT
I paid $499 only because i used PayPal (I think it was $480Shipped w/out paypal)Email Bryan for the exact prices and as far as the cops busting chops.......just say they came with the car from factory(asumming you drive a lexus)alot of times the cops will check the bulbs to see if they are blue coated, if they are they know its the cheap bulbs but with the HID's there is no tinted glass

Oh yea do a search on philips 6K there are a couple of people who have them w/pics

The 6000K is more white than it is purplish. 6000K is the best if your car did not come with stock HID as the housing will eat up some light. I basically wanted to eliminate any type of yellow.

Good info, I hear that 4300 is the absolute brightest you can get, anything higher it begins to get darker. So I'm still going back and forth between the temperature. Also I hear the CATZ kits are the easiest to install, but if no one has had problems doing self installs with Philips, maybe that's the way to go.

I also got my 6k kit from bryan, VERY VERY easy to install took about 20 Min to do

Id say deff go with 6K u cant go wrong with the look and color output
ill try and post some pics this weekend
Another question regarding installation, did you have to remove your batter to get at the headlamp housing? Also what year is your GS?
