Default Footwell lights on a GS400??

Ok Ok Ok - so ive replaced my 194 bulbs with LEDs.... and i cant seem to find any information on what kind of bulb the tiny foot well bulb is - Any info... im trying to get the white LED look all over the car. The fading on feature would look sick with LED's

i tried but i could never find the bulb for the foot well (the replacement). that bulb is so darn small. i ended up just pull it out, put on a light coat of blue paint, and put it back

Yea- i had read that - not exactly what i want to do.... i called lexus and i have the part number (does me no good) and confirmed that it is a 12-14vt bulb so im sure its got to be a standard..... i cant believe they didnt use a 194 bulb. I am hoping somebody out there has found a replacement for this bulb.....

Funny you should bring this up!! I was thinking of using a 194 socket with the M4 in there. I just hate that light.....

Yea - the 194 is only 5watts? and im sure a LED bulb would be less than that - i cant imagine having to worry about shorting anything out.....

I think i may just try to do that.... I hate all yellow light on my car. I think the best improvements were the front 194's in the high beams and the License plate holder - very classy looking with white LEDs.

Dudes...I think I found these bulbs....very narrow and it was very difficult to remove. Both footwells (front driver and front pass) and the glove box use the same bulbs. Not sure what type is in the vanity mirrors...but I'll keep you all updated.

yeah it's hard to take off, coz' the "official right" way to take it off is by removing the whole panel and do it from the inside. but of course, i pulled as well. and keep us posted where you found the light!

I know this is a really old thread. Does it take the 74 bulb? I want to change the footwell bulbs as I don't use the dome light. I see lots of fitment questions. I have a 03GS3.
