Default HID to Halogen

I have had problems with the HID's in my '08 IS250. I would like to go to halogens.

If I put in an aftermarket assembly that does not have auto level or AFS, will it work?

You will be doing quite a bit of wiring if you want to even try attempting to convert from HIDs to the Halogen assemblies. IMO, I'd find out what's wrong with your HIDs first before you go attacking something that could potentially be solved very easily...

In that regard, what problems are you having with your HIDs?

As far as I know, the HID's are 35w. Halogen are 55/60w so your current wires are probably too small. You also might not have a high beam +12v wire designed to carry any current. You'll have to run all new wiring from the fusebox and change the fuse rating or just setup relays to run straight off the alternator just for the wiring part. That's fine, you can do all that but it would be easier and cheaper to install aftermarket HID ballasts and ignitors.

Damn I must say this is the first time I have seen someone go from HID's to Halogens.
