Hi there. I would *highly recommend* this brand: Helligkeit, can be pickued up for about the 100-150$ range depending on shipping.
The kit is absolutely high quality stuff!
For example a friend has had the same kit on his retrofitted Prelude for over 2.5 years now [all original]. Another friend of mine has had a couple of kits [driving & fog lamp HID] for over 1.5 years and still going strong.
You cannot go wrong with that brand, they are very reputable, i have seen some of the Chinese kits that sell for 300$ and they are far more inferior in build quality as opposed to the aforementioned.
Get the one i recommend, you wont be disappointed!

Please don't be installing HIDs into halogen non-projector headlights. It's illegal, the light spread is terrible and blinds people, it looks cheap and tacky, and you lose the high-beam function unless you get the bi-xenon that has a "high and low" beam function.
If you're going to retrofit an HID ballast, then go for it. That will give you great light output and may serve to modernize the look of your car. But don't just stick the HID bulb in the stock housing so that you can drive around blinding everyone. Having a blue halogen-reflector light tells everyone that you've stuck an illegal bulb in it and all the car guys know it, which only makes you look bad. It's the light equivalent of fake vents and spoilers.

2001 xenon headlights on 97-99 es300
I found some oem hid headlights/ballasts/bulbs from a 2001 ES300. I got the pig tails and everything works. I have a 98 ES300 I want to install them into. They don't seem to fit in the existing spot where my halogen lamps were. Has anyone done this swap and know what I need to modify for these xenon lamps to fit?
Thanks
Tyler
