Default headlights plastic lens

is it possible my headligths cover are dirty from the inside i did the sracth removel from the outside and still don't look right is 99 gs400 with 68k miles don't think dealer will help me , may can you tell me how to take the lens a part and clean the inside or not?thank you.

it's weird that the inside would be dirty. unless the headlight is leaking air or so dust shouldn't be gathered inside as easy. you sure it's not the outside? how did you do the scratch removal? sand paper? you know a good way to see if it's outside or inside. get some water, put some soap solution in it (tiny little, so it does wash away as fast), put the water solution on the headlight. does it become clear now? if so, it's the outside. if not, it's probably the inside.

taking the lens apart is hard, coz' it's fully sealed. you can get a heatgun to pry it open, but i don't suggest that coz' you probably won't be able to seal it back good

Thanks Bro. I won't even touch them I though some may have done this is probably just me that want to see that lens like new.

you welcome. try it and let us know. if it's really the outside surface, you can try put on xpel stuff. they protect your headlight from rock chips, and it makes the surface shiny again
