Would like to take advantage of this sale but dont know what exact parts I need...d2s or amp ballasts? Bulb type? Any wire harnesses? What clear lenses fit M45s?. For sure I want the m45 projectors. Can someone help me with a shopping list (budget wise)? Will be for a 02 GS300 non-hid.

my previews retro was a m45 projector
-the TSX-R 2.5 clear lens will fit those projectors
- Luxurymods brackets will make the retro a breeze
-M45 projectors use D2S bulbs
-D2S ballast
-9006 wire harness.

the discount they are running right now dont apply to the m45 projectors which are in their closeout section, which means you would have to use the discount towards the HID kit system and the clear lens.

conclusion
-M45 projector: $125
-D2s HID system: $140 this kit includes (ballast, bulbs, wire harness)
-Clear lens: $40
-luxurymods bracket: $60
total of: $365 before discounts.
hope that helps

a new strip of butyl is definitely a plus, just for a piece of mind when putting back the lens, i would also recommend silica packs. and i just saw a status update from TRS on FB, their coupons DO apply to the closeout section where the M45s are sold.

What is the butyl? Now I'm worried that the shop didn't put the right glue or enough of it to hold everything in place when they installed mine!

butyl is the glue used to glue the lens and the housing together, sometimes the original left over glue will suffice but adding a new strip is just a piece of mind since you already have the headlights apart anyways.

Well the shop I went to specializes in HID kits and installation. I would hope they know what works best..

Does anyone else get 18 wheelers flashing their brights at them? My cut off is perfect and I'm using 5000k Philips with projectors! I guess it's so bright and white compared to the average car they they assume it's my brights

I don't think so. I made a thread a few posts down from this one that has pictures. A few people who are into cars and know about projectors checked it out and said it looks even and good

from 30 ft it should just be up to the side mirrors of other cars.

It seems like it's more or less the mirror height wtf. A tall truck flashed me earlier but these vehicles are doing it from a good 6 and 8 car distance from me. No cars do it
