I have a 2001 gs300 just got pulled over for having the license plate bulbs out.
how do you get to them to replace?

 

Pop the trunk...remove interior trunk lid liner by removing the plastic tabs...you should be able to access the bulbs for the license plates. Here's what i upgraded to yesterday (passenger side)...very very bright and white...and the best thing is...no lamp out code on my dash.
