Default Q45 light into GS.

hello everyone. Well, I am a newbie, but I am not new to this forum.
Anyway, I just want to share this with you guys. I found it today.
The advanced InfiniteQ45(Nissan Cima) head light is swap into the GS housing. And it looks really good also.
Come check it out

People here were amazed about that swap. Soaristo also post the entire conversion somewhere in the forum. I downloaded it and can only dream about one day to have such conversion done. I remember people were even talking about a "group buy" from Soaristo..

If those are from a Q45, i think it would be a complete waste of money. I got to see the HIDs of the 03 q45 and my Hid's were actually brighter and provided better lighting. I thought they would be better then mine but that is not the case.
Go to the dealer at night and check it out yourself.

I was under the impression that the Q ship had the brightest lights of all HID cars.

Hmmm that is wierd PAUL, the ones i saw were purplish but very hazy just like the HID's on the older Benz E classes.
I think the brightest HID's ive seen were on a BMW 750.

Question

That is kinda strange? They looked purplish/blue w/bright white.
They looked very similar to the E-46 HID's bmw's. I only had a chance to see them for a short time tho. I do remember SOARISTO original post saying that they were MUCHO better than the OEM's. The only thing was the high costs of the swap. If we could just get some cheap hook-up for the Q-45 lights. I am trying to buy a used pair of gs HID's from a reck to open up & mess with. I wanted to be the first to SOARISTO my HID's JYOO are ya talking about the HID from the current 03 745's or previous 740 & 750 hid's?

I saw a set of Q45 housings, with ballasts and bulbs, on eBay a few weeks ago for $750 buy-it-now, if I remember correctly. Didn't pay much attention because I know I don't have the skills needed to do a Q45 retrofit in place of my factory projectors (96 ES).
