mitsubishi eclipse question
Today at lunch, I decided to take a stroll through Wal-Mart, and of course into the auto parts section to check out stuff I need to get. I saw a middle-aged woman there looking at the auto bulbs, and she obviously seemed to have a tough time deciding on the right bulb(s).
So I offered to help out, and she told me she has a '99 mitsubishi eclipse. She wasn't sure if it's the high or low beam bulb that needs to be changed because from what I gathered, the car in question functions with single headlamps instead of the twin-style seen in all BMWs and most Lexus. So I assume for each headlamp, it uses one bulb, operated by a driver switch (for low and high beam). She was choosing between a 9005 and a 9006 bulb, and I told her I would go with the 9005 bulb since it draws a higher wattage than the 9006.
Help me out guys if I'm wrong about this, I hate to think if I indeed gave the wrong advice to the woman

Dude, you should have told her to get both 9005 and 9006. return what she does not need.

hahaha, for some reason this is the best answer, hahah

well at least the 9005 can be made to fit in the 9006 housing

Man, I probably should have told her to get both bulbs, and bring back the one not needed. Well, at least it's good to see her buying a bulb there than doing it all at a dealership
