Default more specific 05 conversion Q

for those who did the 9006 to 9005 conversion.

did you guys use any O rings from the 9006? i forget where i read that u might have to in some cases. if you did or didnt, please tell me what car you did it with. ive got 9006 silverstars and am thinking which 9005's to use, maybe silverstars again who knows.

Yes, to keep the housing perfectly watertight you'll want to swap the rubber gaskets, do a search for "9005 conversion" and you'll find several tutorials with pictures, this same question seems to pop up every couple of months.

yeah i will move the rubber ring over as well to make it more water proof
