Default Review: Osram Fog Breaker - Yellow Bulbs

Courtesy of Nigel-JDMParts, I have gotten my hands on a pair of H11 Osram Fog Breaker bulbs to replace my OEM halogens on my IS F. I mentioned to Nigel, that I wanted a bulb that would be as close to the golden yellow of the legendary Lexus is300 as possible... He assured me that they are!

My initial thoughts upon arrival were that the bulbs were packaged really nicely and the bulbs itself looked of great built quality...

The pictures are comparing my OEM Halogens with the Osram Fog Breaker:







Overall I am pleased with the bulbs. I haven't tested them on the road yet, but once I do... I will add on to my review. The bulbs are much more yellow then Nokya, which I had on my integra and my is300's high beams. The pictures do no justice since I used an iPhone, the color is really deep golden yellow and very bright!

Nicely done....good option for those who want to upgrade their fogs without breaking the bank.

Thank you for the review. I know OSRAM is the shiznit when it comes to lights, but it's usually $$ to get them, however with output like that, I can see why.

Hah! Good to know, but I'd need to find someone closer for these. I don't buy anything from the vendors here, since it's always "promo price"; tell them Canada, and it becomes "Promo price" + Shipping [ which is equivalent to "promo price " x 1.5]

Fog breakers look great! I wish someone would do a side by side comparo with the Piaa plasma ions. I wonder if they're worth the premium pricing . . .

PIAA ION have a slight white hue to it from different angles, not worth the price at all... a true comparison to these bulbs would be Höen Endurance. If I had extra money, I would get a pair and do a comparison against them... As they are the only other bulbs in the market which have no negative review, said to be a very deep golden yellow. Many reviews have suggested that the PIAA are brighter, but the Osram has been the brightest bulbs I have seen so far!

As of right now, I am quite happy with the Osram Fog Breaker lights...

wonder how they compare to the nokya bulbs, they seem similar in output.

As stated in my original post, Nokya comes no where near the output and quality of these bulbs... Noyka are a very washed out yellow color and not as bright as these at all. The Osram Fog Breaker are much brighter then my OEM Halogen lights.
