i assume your sc400 doesn't have hid stock right? if that's the case, fitting the bulb in the housing would be the biggest challenge. the bulb will fit in the housing, but it won't hold (the base is different). you will have to find something to hold it in and also prevent it from water. i suggest using some sort of silicone to seal it. but then the problem is later on if you wanna change the bulb that's a lot of headache

Yeah buddy. For this to work, the IS300 sysem is gonna put you in a position where you're going to have to spend more than you would want to. Look at it this way: the IS uses reflective headlights while the SC uses projective headlights. And all this simply means is that each requires a different bulb to operate effiecitenty. The is uses a bulb in a size called D2R. It looks like this:
1.
The other type of bulb is the D2S which you require for your car. It looks like this.

2.

Both function properly in their correct designations. Remember D2S is for projector systems...like yours and D2R is for relfective systems like the IS300 or Acura TL ect...If you do a seaRCH ON eBAY or this site, ( http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/ ) you can find some great deals and a wealth of information on HID systems. Wish you the best...
