Interior bulb types, neon inside?
Is there a listing in the owners guide or service manual for LS430 interior and door bulb types (sizes). Also do any of you know of a good source to buy these type of colored bulbs (I'm looking for green or lime green).
While I'm asking about interior lighting, can anybody tell me if they have put 8" or 10" neon tubes just under drivers & passenger seats from the back. I'd like to provide floor lighting for my rear passangers this way... would that be too bright? Even with a black interior?
Thanks

I myself think neon lighting looks too bright and very tacky especially on a Lexus. The only time I can even stand neon lighting is for show purpose only and not too much or again it looks tacky.
I have noticed neon is now popular again, But I don't see neon license plate frames as much as I used too. LOL

Tonight I finished it! After looking at a few neon light kits for my LS430 I decided to go with LED interior lighting. One of the advantages of a LED kit is they can produce different colors all from the same tube. Another is LED's tubes can be wired into my interior lighting without a control box or transformer. I used (2) Plasmaglow Fusion 15" tubes up under the front dash and (2) 10" tubes under the seats pointing at the rear floor. When the interior lights come on, all tubes glow a soft green that match my interior green bulbs. When I want to change the colors or get a little crazy with scan patterns, I turn on the control box mounted in the center console and there is a party going on.... All LED tubes are recessed and not directly visable unless you look up from below or put your face on the floor. I've also wired up and installed 2 of the 6 tubes that will go under the car. The side tubes will glow green as well when the inside dome light or side mirror light come on. Hope to have that done very soon.
