OK..so i just found out that my new 430gs has no yellow fogs...."picking up the car next week..it's on the boat due to arrive in Jacksonville on the 2nd of feb.....

I know the regular Driving Lights are white..but NOT hid's..so they will not match...that bugs me...What can i replace the DL with..HID DL's? what ones......

While I am at it is there a higher powered HID headlamp?

The only time you will get yellow fog lights is only if your car came with factory HID. so both your headlights and fog light will just be halogen 9006 bulbs and they should almost be 100% perfect match.

you can replace the driving lights with HID. just buy a phillips 9006 D2R 4300k-6000k HID kit, its just plug and play and will run you about 450-550?

 

???????? The 2004 GS430 comes stock with HIDs. How come yours doesnt? If it has HID low beam it will have yellow foglamps.

 

that's weird, hid is standard on all gs430, so i thought they should all have yellow fogs. very weird. anyway, the fogs are 9006 and the high beams are 9005. you can get piaa extreme white or razo platinum zero if you want. but the high beam will still be yellow during the day when the DRL is on. no fix for that

 

You all are RIGHT...I guarantee my sales guys knows nothing!..Told me my fiends 400gs didn't have e-shift on his wheel. RIGHT............so anyway...so they come with yellow fogs? I believe you all...HID's are stock on ALL 430, and now I know what kit to get..and THANK YOU..that is the answer I was looking for! Now on WHERE TO GET THE KIT!..

try optauto.com, they sell a lot of stuff, pretty good i guess (though i have never ordered from them. i am in cali, everything is local)

but yeah, while i can't 100% gurantee, for all i know, all hid equipped gs come with yellow fogs, unless you do special order i guess. and since hid is standard on gs430, i would say yellow fogs are standard...
