Default Who Makes Quality HID Projector Headlights?

The headlights on my 94 SC are really faded, even after polishing several times. They looked great for a while and then started to turn yellowish again. I'm done. Looking for suggestions on who make quality replacement HID headlights. Thanks In Advance.

I don't think anyone makes an hid headlight. Either buy an aftermarket kit or do an Oem retrofit. I am running hella ballasts which are common on most German cars along with Philips bulbs and tsx projectors. It's an awesome combo for the sc.

Typical HID ballast kits are decent if you order a set of 5k. 6K can be so/so and a little on the blue side. Anything above that and you're wasting your money. HID kits are temporarily ok, but you should look into a true retrofit projector if you're serious about illumination at night. I bought a set of 6K about three years ago and one of them is starting to fade a yellow'ish color and isn't as bright as the opposite side which looks weird.

Have you ever opened up your headlights and cleaned the glass projectors? It can make a world of difference since your car is 20 years old.

If you want a simple HID kit, there are vendors on Club Lexus. Expect to pay about $35+ for a set.

If you want true brightness like Tabaka said you will need to do a retrofit. You can get some quality stuff from http://www.theretrofitsource.com/. Or you can also do the TSX projector retrofit.

These kits and packages sound great but they still don't solve my main issue. The yellowing of the headlight lense cover. I've seen here on the forum where people have invested in all new headlight assemblies with the HID lights built into them. After researching, I can't find these posts? Any Suggestions? I'm not real savy on all of this but certainly open to Learn. Has anyone done one of the Headlight replacement kits from APC (American Products Company)?

Oem+retrofit is the only way to go stay away from aftermarket garbage they will leak, fade and look like crap in a year or less. so dont waste your money and shell out for oem new

Maybe take the headlights to a detailer and see if they can remove some of the yellowing? You can probably find headlights on ebay for cheap, maybe even experiment in doing your own retrofit?
