I have stock yellow fog lights, and I know its the fog lights housing that make it yellow. My question is I want to upgrade the fog lights bulb to a brighter, which bulb should I bulb. I've heard that the Piaa are brighter in a clear fog lights housing, I'm wondering if it would make my yellow fog lights better?

i dont recommend you go to a higher wattage bulb in fog locations, they dont have as much room and venting as headlight locations and it may well melt your housing, fine in the winter but a little dangerous in the summer.
I replaced the stock H3 (55w) bulbs on an '02 ES300 with PIAA Xtreme White (55w). They are rated at 55w but emit the equivalent of 110w. The light cast is white rather than yellow. The best part is the fog light itself looks white/blue similar to the HID lights. The stock H3s just gave off a standard buld hue.
Overall the fogs (either bulb) don't cast much light under the HID setup.
www.PIAA.com. #15255, $63.99/pr at Tweeter, Etc. 1/2 hour to put in both. PIAA does make a "Yellow Ion" alternative.
