Hey Guys,

I have installed replacement hid bulbs on my is300. I bought 12k hid bulbs through hidnation.com. the bulbs came in and installed fine. I turned the lights on and they light up white with a hint of blue, looks like its between 6k and 8k I wanted to know if this is due to the ballast handling a set ammount of kelvin or could it be something else?

The ballast has nothing to do with the color of the light, it just provides the bulbs a stable and constant power supply. The bulbs dictate the color of light.

Contact the guys you got it from and get it warrantied.
