Default oem hid

i have hid oem kit.. it comes w/ two ballust and two bulbs.. i dont remeber if its d2s or d2r..

my question is if anyone put similiar oem kit into fog lights? i've had this kit for almost a year now.. just layin around on my floor doin nothin.. if i can't install it i'll sell it on eBay or somethin..

it's d2r. you can put it in the fogs but it won't hold, and you have to use stuff like silicon to seal it.

i'd rather put normal 9006..

anyone wanna trade? those are the one from bmw and audi.. doesn't have refelector thingy on the top... i forgot if its d2r or d2s..

oh sorry if it's from bimmer and audi then it's d2s, and the no reflector thing proves that point too.

you need 6000k hid for the fogs

you have 6000k? you awfully often offering/pushing 6000k HIDs heh why not 8000k? would match my headlights

oh you have 8000k, you need 8000k fogs i have 6000k so.... but i will stay with yellow fogs, coz' 6000k fogs isn't going to be exciting for me anymore

well.. i was talkin' about hids.. i dont understand when people offer me halogen instead of my hid for trade..

well.. it *MUST* be HID that's for sure if you have any offers i'm pretty much open 4100k is not that bad especially if it's going go for my yellow fog lights

actually i have been thinking, what would happen if i use hid in my yellow fogs? coz' the point of hid is white, but now i make it yellow. would it be just as yellow, or would it be whiter? or it will be very bright yellow?

it'll be bright yellowish color.. it still be yellow but very bright..

oh wait, so you have hid in the yellow fogs now? is that what in your pics? can you show me more pics? maybe i can buy the hid set off you

oh and btw, where did you mount the ballasts for the fogs?

eh.. i meant.. i have yellow color .. sorry for misleading.. but the point is... as i started this thread is that long time ago i bought this hid kit and i wanted to sell it back on ebay but as usual bein lazy, and since its just layin under my desk and doin nothin i though i would put it on but i know that my bulbs wont fit my mountin and i don't wanna modify 'em.. so i though maybe there is some sort of an adapter or somethin that would conver them or maybe the whole socket that is comatible with our fog lights.. anyway i gotta sell it and i'll buy another 9006 for fog lights
