NYC ES3 - Everything is fine with the lights. I will post night pictures tonight.
I got mine from www.projectimport.com. I got the Philips 6000K Ultinon HID Conversion Kits. You can also buy a regular 6000K so be sure what you are buying.
When I shine the headlights on a wall or garage door with old and new then line up perfectly and have the same pattern. At least this is true for my 98 ES.

awesome, this thread answered more questions than I originally had
I'm going to order the philips 6000K kit tonight. What's the diff btw. standard 6000K and the Ultinon 6000k?
Also, which place makes the highest quality, easiest to install, and best for the $$$ kit? I am set to order from autolamps but $570 is steep, mburnickas- you said $470 for yours from projectimport.com- do you recommend it?
also, how is the suvlights.com kit? $450 is tempting....
thanks

this guy at projectimport doesn't have any information on his kits. i would enquire to make sure they don't use the gluing on base technique. I am curious to see these pics....
I think the ulitron bulbs are just philip's brand name for 6000K. They are probably all the same at 6000K. I recommend 4300K. I've had both.

I got my from project import. The guy is ok, not the greatest and the shipping I feel was great! They packed the light set in a box that was about 4 times the HID box. I would order from them again. If any others are going ot order from them make sure you email them to make sure you are getting what you want. I do this with ANY online people to have documents for ref.
I also looked at other sites. One that I almost ordered from was http://www.turboevo.com/. I did not since his price was higher for credit card orders! So I said no thanks. I wanted to use credit card to play it safe for any reasons. Just tell him that you saw them on the group buy center and they were for $485 shipped. You can search there to see the price if need be.

(the lights are NOT fuzzy in real life. I had the camera on manual mode so the flash did not work.)

I love my HIDs however, they just cost me $140 because I was having problems and had to take the car to Lexus. When I had the HIDs put in (about a year ago) they cut off the stock harness that plugged into the 9006 bulb and replaced it with one that came with the HIDs. The new harness wasn't sealed as well as the stock one though and water got in and coroded it. The corosion caused my headlights to work all weird. The highbeams stayed on dim whenever the headlights were on and the passenger headlight was extremely dim. When the highbeams were on it actually looked kinda cool, like DRLs, but the passenger headlight was messed up too so I couldn't keep it like that. Either tomorrow or Wednesday I am having Hella 8000k HIDs put in. They are supposed to be purplish, like Audi, and they come with a lifetime warranty. Until the new HIDs are installed I have my stock bulbs, I never realized how much better the HIDs were until now. I can't wait for the new ones to come in. Anyway, even though I have had problems with aftermarket HIDs I would definatly recommend them. They make a huge difference.
I think I'm gonna pick some up 6000K...not as bright as the 4300K but the color, to me looks better the bluish haze looks nicer. Only crap is I live in NYC and the A$$ holes around here like to "help themselves" to your HID's if you know what I mean...........
Either way I am gonna take your advice MBurn....cause I've heard a few people say but the Philips Uni....ballast and bulbs just to play it safe....so you know you're not buyin crap......
I'll probably get um after Christmas and stuff....
Finally a helpful thread not flooded with hear-say......Well DONE FELLAS!!!!!!!

NYC ES3-- All right man! They are a good choice. I was at a stop light with new honda accord and his lights were some dim you could not see 5 feet on the ground in front.
The more I use the HIDs I love them! I would NEVER EVER go back, period.
The wonderful thing about the aftermarket HIDs is that you can remove them when you sell the car/truck and re-install them in the new car you buy (minus the bulbs if they do not fit). I like that idea.
I also went with philips becasue some many people use them without problems. In todays ago, it is hard to spend near $500 for some generic made HID. I will keep an eye out of the net for philips HID 6000K for you. I think the (2) sites I said might be the least expensive. I think the deal I got is about the least I could find with warrenty throught them.
I noticed that when using the lights you get more light on the up coming signs etc. The really shine out there WAY before you get there. No flashing by others, no police issues, etc. I drive from Hartford CT to Springfield MA with no issues and I love driving at night!
Any more questions just ask.

OK I have a 95 ES300. I found a 9006 6000k Bella kit. Now what else do I need?
I'm new to the car modding industry unless its audio.
Edit:
Great, my passenger side headlight is now fried.
Now I need to go with the HIDs.
Edit edit:
Got a new socket, now its time to install it! OMG I hate my life!

The websites about where U can get them are posted in this thread........the color temps are 4300K is whiter with a hint of blue and is the brightest....6000K is that bluish haze look and less bright than a 4300K...8000K is kinda purplish and the least bright of the three......
Now remember we are talkin about HID's so when I say "less bright" is not to say anywhere near Halogen....All of them are MUCH brighter than a Halogen.....I like the 6000K's for the Lex
Take a look at the pic links.....
Or go on www.google.com and type HID in the search bar.....and a SH** load of stuff will pop up
