Default Audi Style LED DRL's

I have an 02 ES300 with rectangular foglights. I thought about buying 2 white 6k LED Strips and mounting them at the top of the foglights. But could someone explain how to wire them and what to wire them to? Which light's power would you tap into, or would you make a separate switch?

You have a couple of options for wiring, but before that how do you want them to work on the car (signal, parking light, individually, etc)?

If you want it wired to the signal light and only turn on when you signal then you'll tap into the signal wires.

If you want it to be a parking light then wire it to the parking light wires.

If you want it to be constantly then you need to run it to a on/off switch.

The LED itself should be a simple hook up with only 2 wires, positive and negative.

I know I don't want it for turn signal, but I want it to be like a DRL. But the OEM DRL's are the Highbeam headlights at 50% Power. So if I tap into the high beam's power would I get full power or would it not work.

measure your voltage on the drl to how much voltage its putting out, or you could run a relay to that point and have it trigger the rely to turn on the your LEDs
