I want to replace my interior lights with Led lights. I own a 1999 es300 but I don't know how to find the sizes or model numbers of the bulbs I need. Someone made a real useful thread for the sc300/400 model, is there a place where I can find this info for my car? I just want to do the door lights and dome lights if anyone has the info on hand. Thanks.

LEDs can be tricky. some are very easy to swap out and others are soldered into printed circuit boards. i recently replaced pretty much all of the interior lights in my 06 GX470 and posted pics in this forum(unfortunately the settings on my camera are all screwed up and most of the pics look grainy)

as i stated earlier if your lex has the same type of lights in the footwells and you're comfortable doing the soldering it's very easy to do. if you're not then have someone do it for you.


EDIT: i forgot to mention that the original LEDs have a smaller outside diameter and i had to ream the housing where the LED bulb sticks out into the opaque cover.

an update: i just did all 4 of the LEDs for the inside door handles. it was basically the same as the footwell lights only with a different housing.
