take the old ones out and put the new ones in. it is not hard to do at all...........if you can't figure it out maybe you should let a professional do it.
i had a thread up with pics and instructions about 2 months ago........should be able to find it with a search. if not i will post tomorrow with more helpful advice.
I've been pretty overcautious with everything I've done with my RX so far. But I haven't had much help with changing out my headlamps. So I'm going where no man here has gone before... or at least will admit to. I'm attempting to install 2001/02 HID headlamps in my 99 RX and not spend $2000. Wish me luck!
good luck Handogen, i thought it was pretty much near impossible to do because of the leveling system the factory uses on the lex. i'll take a look in some of the manuals i have on the rx and maybe i can dig something up for you.......just got all 3 volumes the other day.
i have already changed out my 99 headlights for the 2001 headlights but did not want to even try to do the HID thing because of the other components that are missing. i might go with an aftermarket HID system though.
