RAZO 9006 BULB: 55W PREMIUM WHITE ZERO
"Now there are direct replacement bulbs for your aerodynamic headlights that are brighter than factory. The higher wattage performance bulbs increase your visibility on freeways as well as on the streets. These bulbs are available in a variety of different colors: Premium White, Premium White Zero, Pure White, Plasma Blue, Super Plasma, Super White & Platinum White."

- Dont you think with higher wattage, and higher color temp, that these would for sure melt up the sockets? If not, these bulbs seem the best way to go!

This is my next headlamp purchase. I'll move my
SilverStars to the foglamp sockets.
Can you use the RAZO's with the stock wiring harness, or do you need to change all of that?

RÄZO bulbs are the same wattage as SilverStars, EuroLites, et al.

9006 - 55W ea.
9005 - 65W ea.

The color temperature refers to its relative coloration, not heat or power consumption. Low color temperature implies warmer (more yellow/red) light while high color temperature implies a colder (more blue) light.

Even 6000K HID's only burn 35W.

DOoD,

That quote was in response to your earlier post regarding your
Target bulbs.

Will RÄZO bulbs melt your socket?
Will any bulb melt you socket?
You'll get no guarantees from me...

I will say this: The stock bulbs I pulled were Sylvanias. They had
the same wattage as the SilverStars (Sylvanias) I bought. RÄZO
bulbs have the same wattage as SilverStars. You figure it out.

If you have doubts, just drop in your stock bulbs and save your
money for something else that's more fun than worrying if your
headlights are going to melt.

if your sockets melt, it will no longer be able to hold the bulb, therefore, melted socket=no more headlight. even though those bulbs say they are the same wattage, somehow they produce enough heat to screw up them sockets.

This is my 7000K Hid Kit I put on a SC400.

Cost me $650.00 for this kit (Hella Ballasts and Osram Bulbs) with a 5 year free replacement warranty.

They are VERY VERY bright. about 5 times as bright as the old Halogens

7000K is really quite purple...IMO beyond blue. Like Acura/BMW type, but they will not flicker like them.
