Unhappy problem with LED for DRL

like the title state, i bought a set of JDM White 68-SMD 9005 HB3 LED on ebay, when the bulbs arrived i plug them in, its shock me when i discover that only the first two role are light up, here's the picture. after that i did some research and ran across some posts saying that i need the module from V-leds. i went a head a bought a pair, when i plug the bulbs in the module, only one side is giving full power, the other side still only light the first two role like the picture. i spend my whole afternoon switching the module around but nothing works. did anyone got the same issue and get it resolve? PLEASE HELP

I dont have a fix for this but only an oppion that some bulbs on our car that required module to work properly should not be change. Example DRL bulbs and tail light. If your unlucky you get electrical damges. This is from my experience with LED tail. Cost for fix would be $1,000 or more if it was'nt for my warranty. Bulbs that I see being ok are 73, and 194.

-Just my opion- Hope you find a fix soon.

Just run a relay from battery triggered by your existing high beam wire and have it output to a new 9005 harness to your LED bulbs.

The DRL will trigger the relay; thus releasing the full power to your LED bulbs.

A fog lamp harness can fix this problem along with other small parts. You just need to wire it correctly.

Couldn't he just use a PIAA 9005 bulb instead and just plug n play? Wouldnt this work as both high beam and DRL?

Now that the harness is working, output it to the two 9005 LED bulbs.

No need to run any extra switches and such to the cabin.
