does anyone know if there are any aftermarket taillights for the 92-96 ES300 that look like the 2000-2001 taillights (white stripe in the middle)?

 

there are not, all you can do is clear the tail lights, a process which i wil be undertaking soon.

 

yeah, but that is kinda ghetto. Plus they wont have the nice luster that the 2000-01 lights have. Someone had to have thought of the idea.

 

That nice luster comes from different patterned plastic that is inside of the new tail lights. If you have money, you can go have buy some tail lights for a 2000-2001 ($300 a piece) and then go have them custom fit to your older model... (I estimate $500) Otherwise clearing is the best you can do. Look at the photo of some cleared tail lights in the other thread

 

Will the 2000-2001 tail lights be a perfect fit for a 98 or were the dimensions changed a tad bit in 2000?

 

here are photos of Lexus. The one on the left is a 1999, the one on the right is a 2000. Note the lexus badge is also on the tail light in 2000.

the only thing is the way that everyone is starting to do. Like I said taking out all the pieces looks really bad, unless someone paints them or something.

im clearing out all of them, ill will try and figure something out
