i have 2gen gs with oem wing, but im in the process of selling it so would i cut the 3rd break light line or is there a clip that detaches it in the trunk under the carpet?

2nd question : since i removed this wing isnt it illegal to drive witout a 3rd break light so how would i go about install one that shows through the rear window? thanks for the help
