i have 01 gs430 with oem wing, but im in the process of selling it so would i cut the 3rd break light line or is there a clip that detaches it from in the trunk under the carpet?

2nd question : since i removed this wing isnt it illegal to drive witout a 3rd break light so how would i go about install one that shows through the rear window? thanks for the help

 

If you take the carpeting off, I'm sure there is a connector. You would have to reroute that connector into the car and buy a third brake light that goes inside.

1)unhook the carpet there is a OEM plug, dont cut it.
2)yes it is....buy one that fits in rear window and it will clip right and plug in to the oem wire that should be there also
