Default Wanting to convert to HIDs

Just had a question about this. After I install the HID kit, is it still a reflector light? Probably a dumb question.

And a side note...anyone know of a good site to get and HID fog light kit?

ugadawg13, yep - after you install an HID kit, you'll still have a reflector style light housing.

i'm a little biased but check out www.mobilehid.com - waterproof and hammer proof!

normally $180 shipped but discounted to $140 shipped for CL members here: http://www.mobilehid.com/cl.htm

Here's a fellow member's ballast after it fell out of his 700hp GS and dragged along the ground and then being run over by several cars.

yeah, it still worked!

Thanks!

Clifford

I can vouch for Cliff's products, my ballast got banged up when I hit a raccoon and still works perfectly! I've used a couple different sets of his bulbs as well and have always been happy.

Okay I looked at that site. I thought I knew which kit to pick but now i'm a little confused. Which kit do I need? I know I want the 6000 color.

I looked at my headlights closely and saw that the daytime running light bulb is also the upper beam bulb. Will the HID be able to be dim for daytime running?

Ehhh.....

ugadawg13- I checked the specs on the bulbs for your ES300 and it looks like you'll need an h7 kit for your low beams and an H3 kit for your fogs. in your original post, you mentioned that you just needed a fog light kit. but later on you mentioned your low beams- do you have OEM hid? if not - you'll need that h7 kit and i can hook you up with a deal on that for you.

I figured out I just need the H7 kit for my low beams. And I'll defiantly be buying from that site before long.
