I purchased some HIDs off of ebay. I spent about $70 total for some 9006 hids 5000k for my 1st gen gs.

hooked them up and they work fine. The only problem is that with the car off only one will light up. When I turn the car on they both light up and work great (dont flicker or anything) and after they are warmed up they will both turn on with the car off.

this seems really odd. i figured if it were wiring or a screw up it would be constant but its not.

what do yall think?

 

If they are plug-n-play hids are you using a harness with a relay/fuse? They maybe drawing too much power from your stock headlight harnesses with the car off. When your car is turned on, the alternator is running so it gives enough juice to run them I guess.
