The opposite side of the metal wire... push in the wire than move them to the side.. they should now be loose with one end attach...

As far as the place to get... I got my from http://www.suvlights.com/ for $275.. worth every penny that I pay for..

Thank You for help. Ordering my bulbs tomorrow. I don't want to break my HIDs so asking for more. As far as I understood I should push the metal housing in and than move it to the side.
Which direction do I slide it to? Another one what do those two metal wire peaces secure?Bulb? Please see my pic. I'm sorry about so many questions , just trying to be carefull with what I do. I'm planning to create a "How to with pics" for change HID bulbs. Is anybody intrested in seeing it?

Do not push the metal housing in. If I remember correctly, you twist it off. As far as removing the acutal bulb, push in the meta wire in and when press.. push them outward.l

Thumbs up

Do not push the metal housing in. If I remember correctly, you twist it off. As far as removing the acutal bulb, push in the meta wire in and when press.. push them outward.l

Please Confirm:

Steps:
1. Remove the plastic cover by twisting
2. Make loose two metal piaces
3. Twist/TURN the metal housing
Twist clockwise or other?
4. Take the metal housing off with the bulb attached out of the lamp housing
5. Is that correct?
6. As far as removing the acutal bulb, push in the meta wire in and when press.. push them outward.l
Please explain more, I m confused . The metal wire is attached to metal housing wich I just removed by twisiting as in step #3

What do I see when I remove the metal housing?Bulb?

Thank You very much for your support

This is difficult. More difficult if you don't have small hands. I had to remove the front bumper which isn't easy at first either.

good idea.

what happens, though, if i put it all back WITHOUT the wires?
what function do the wires serve?
i managed to get it all back in and functioning (light, leveling)
without the wires.

the wires are there to clip tight to the bulbs. basically if you put the bulbs back on without the power connector, the bulb will fall off, and the clip is there to hold it in place.

just to check though, you put the bulb back, put the clip on, then put the power connector on, right?

hmmmmmmm, i've got it all put together, without the clip, though.
the bulb screws in and "locks" into place in the socket without
the clip. based on what you've just stated, the clip provides added
security. guess i'll take another look at it tonight.
