Default How to access GX470 backup lights bulb?

Looking to replace my GX470's reverse lamp bulbs with LEDs but can't seem to figure out how to access the bulbs. Has anyone replaced theirs? Do you have to remove the interior trim panel on the rear gate to access the lamps?

Thanks,
Bob

Noone has any advice on this? Can you take the lens off from the outside or do you have to go through the interior?

Bob,
I replaced the reverse lights in my RX 350, and imagine it's probably set up the same as the GX. If so, then yes you will need to pull off the interior trim panel (inside of the tail gate). The panel is held in by clips, and you should just have to pull down on it. (it will sound like you're tearing it apart, but that's just the clips pulling out) Once the panel is off, you should see the wires leading the reverse bulbs. From there it's just a twist and pull out. One note, when you replace the panel, be sure that the clips are well lined up with the holes when you push it in to avoid damaging them.
