Default 5k vs 6k

I have a PNP HID kit on my SC with 8k bulbs currently but Im wanting some more light output. Is there a big, noticeable difference between 5 and 6k? I know 4300k is the brightest but I like the pure white/bluish look.

There is a noticeable difference between the two. 5000K will look pure white while 6000K will look bluish white. It also depends on the manufacturer, one color temperature for one company might look different than the same color temperature for another company.

you'd be surprised how 4300k has some bluish tint to it...go for 5000k...6000k is just too blue to be of use.

thanks...those were actually meant to go on my old 240...but long story and I'm glad they look good on the SC. I got lucky on the color too because they match

Cliffud: i got more group pics...that was taken on the 4th floor of a parking lot, I took one from the 2nd and third also. Those were some good times

So I decided to go with the 5k.
Now my LED driving lights look more blue compared to the pure white of the 5k bulbs
