I like the clear if you're putting HID's in them, otherwise I'd stick with the yellow. I was on the fence about this for a while, I just switched to 6000k in the stock HID's and the same in clear fogs and I love it; but there's something to be said for the yellow "Lexus look" too.

I remember when 2GS first game out, back like in 1998, it was something to see that HID/yellow combo in your rearview mirror. Same could be said for 1IS. That combo is just so distinctive and agressive, and HID bulbs make the yellows even brighter. I love it.

If you put a 6000k HID into headlights which is light white blue color. Will it be defecting the purpose for putting the Yellow fog light down? (light white blue +Yellow= Light Yellow?) Has anybody compared the output for 6000k with 3500k and 6000k and 6000k with clear fog to see which is BRIGHTER or CLEARER?

Yellow foglights are nice for conspicuity, especially in adverse weather conditions. Probably don't help an awful lot over white to actually see throught the fog (although there is the argument that the yellow light enhances contrast), but they sure are more visible to other drivers.

Just got my yellow 3000k HID installed in my fog light. Ask per Och. Looks much more brighter. Poor light bulbs, enclosed into a tight yellow capsule. I am worry about the heat, pretty hot even without the yellow capsule. There is no place to put the HID ballast on driver side, I have to ziplock to 9006(high beam) wires.(where do you put yours Och?)

Funny thing the fog light started as green, then transited into yellow in 10 seconds.

(Cheap Philips 6000k light bulbs, like 5000k and less blue/bright then my other aftermarket 6000k car .)

Sure yellow make your car stand out and Lexus look. I kept mine on whenever my low beam on now.
