I am looking to retrofit 2004 LS projectors into my 03 LS430. Has anyone attempted this? It appears that the fitment should be perfect due to the size of the projector housing and the reflector housing of my LS. Any opinions?

 

I think it should be easy. If all the rest of us are squeezing in LS430 projectors into our housings, you shouldn't have a problem.

 

The 04 LS430 projectors wont fit the 03, you are better off trying to score some S2000 projectors and installing them .

 

Are you 100% sure of this? the opening in my 03 looks to be somewhat larger than the projector assembly in the 04.

 

got any pictures of your headlights,cuz I have two ls headlights.they are from different years.I been wanting to try it.But been to busy.

 

Excuse this noob for bumping a 2 year old thread but I purchased a 2002 LS430 about a week ago and have been wanting to do a retrofit. I was also under the impression that the 04 projectors would be an easy job since the headlight housing is so similar but this thread makes me think otherwise. Anyone have luck retrofiting the early gen LS430?

 

I've got a pair of LS430 projectors with shrouds for sale in the General Classifieds sections. Now let me go and try to find a few pics of this retro.
