What's up guys, my name is karwan, and i own a 1997 sc300 white 5spd. I just joined the site, but i have been reading posts for some time. My question is, i want to get an HID kit, but i don't know the exact specs for my car. Owners manual says low beam headlight is 9006 and HB4 bulb. So is it H4 or D2s or what?

Thanks for the fast replies guys. The site i am trying to order from has a drop box to choose from for bulb type: D2R or D2S. BTW, i am looking at some Toyota Denso Ballasts and 4300k bulbs.

 

9006 or HB4 is not D2R or D2S

I just got mine installed
yeah it is 9006 kit or HB4 bulbs from factory..
but i dont' know, what is the one next to 9006, is it drive light or??
i need to get that bulbs to match with my hid 9006 kit.

 

If you're looking at the Denso Ballast with rebased bulb 4300k kit, you will need the D2S which is 9006 rebased DS2 bulb. D2S is for projector headlight and D2R is for reflector headlight.
