Please guys, dun freak out. Just wanting to know if this is REALLY legal. As the website says it is 100% street legal and DOT approved. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-G...0249QQtcZphoto

Also, it is a HID bulb or just halogen?

Those are just halogens and I highly doubt that they are legal.

You could get away with blue, yellow, and white bulbs. Purple and especially GREEN bulbs are definitely not legal.

That is strange..... it says in ALL 50 U.S. states. Despite what it says... trust me, if you're running around with green headlights, you WILL get pulled over.

Buy them, print out the page and where it says 50 state DOT legal, then when you get ticketed for them, make them pay your fine for false advertisement.

If they are stupid enough to advertise it, and you buy it, and then you get fined for them being illegal, i'm sure you can take it to court for false advertisement.

Worse things have happened, like the lady who sued the winebago company for not stating in the manual that cruise control didn't control the motorhome after she put it on and went back to make a sandwich.

Green Headlights = Red and blue behind you.

Halogen/White/Blue/Purple/Pink = Halogens behind you :P

Any color EXCEPT green will not get you pulled over. Green is a very hard color on the eyes especially at dark. It's a major distraction.

Plus, you probably can't see much of anything with green lights.
