Default 2GS OEM HID question

Hi all,

Was there any difference between the 1998 and 2003 model's OEM HIDs? I know about the green tint on the exterior lens, but how about anything else?

well, aside from the green tint in '01+, they were revised in '03 to fix the condensation issue.

Im pretty sure that the only differences between the HID and non HID housings are the reflectors. It may be possible to swap out the reflectors and run an HID kit.

Comparing the pre-green tint and green tint halogen housings, a level was added to the high beam side to accompany the one on the low beam. I'm not sure about HID housings though.

Thanks for the responses.

Pingu: I want to compare 98 OEM HIDs to 03 OEM HIDs... not non-hid to HID.
