I saw LEDs in the door handles about 2 maybe 3 years ago at a car show. Hadn't seen them since. I had thought about doing it to my old car but thought it was cheesy. It's not really all that complicated. Shouldn't be too hard for anyone to do. The hardest part will be removing the handle and finding a location where to put the LED.

I've looked around (haven't taken it apart yet) but the best location will be under where you pull the handle...and I don't know what kind of locking mechanism is behind there yet and not even sure if it'll be possible to drill.

As you said, if we can find a nice place to drill, it'll a simple cheap DIY job.

Advanced Auto Parts sells the led door handle lights. Its a thin strip , about 2 1/2 " ? long that sticks under the handle, then you have to run wires to where ever. They have a few colors too. They are setting on a clearance shelf for $9 bucks a set at my local store. I think I might pick up a set of white ones just for a little project.

i would prefer to find a way to flush mount 3 or 4 on the top part of the handle piece, not the actual handle

easiest is the dome light... a little out of the way. check to see what lights turn on when u unlock the car and go from there. my problem is that my car is about a 10 minute walk away and im trying to get everything settled before i go in for the attack
