hey guys i did a search and it seems like alot of people are happy with tsx projectors i'm in the process in getting them i was curious what you guys thought were the best??
is TSX the best brand? do they project more light then others?
easier to mod? just need some opinions here. Thanks guys
many will say the LS430 is one of the best projectors out there and i agree. but the gatling headlights are also cool .
Yup the gatling gun i.e. Q45 projectors are more for the "bling" factor rather than performance. I have had almost every projector on the market right now in my hands over the past 8 or so years, even the $100 TSX mentioned above perform better than the Q45s . If you are looking for performance with plenty of room to spare such as in the 2GS headlights then the best projector is LS430, otherwise in the category of single xenon projectors without the reflector bowl then Clear lensed S2000 projectors are the winner .
They do they do, I was just mentioning the single xenon projectors . TLs are the BEST bi-xenons on the market and they match, if not exceed the intensity of S2ks if paired with the ZKW clear lenses. The market for TLs has been driven down over the past 6 months or so with the introduction of dirt cheap FX projectors which are available in the market due to the FX headlight recall.
Just to give you an idea how good these both these projectors are, here are some wall shots.
anyone have opinion on LS430 with TSX/clear lens swap?
The LS430 performs the best in stock form. The TSX clear lens ruins the width of the projector but sharpens the cutoff. The special thing about the LS430 is the incredible width it has and I personally wouldn't trade it for a sharper cutoff.
