just a heads up that many of u may not know. I bought a 20" LED Tube from Advance Auto (discount auto in some places) made by OPTX. blue. ver nice. installed it underneath my rear seats (RX) and wired the little controller it comes with up to my center console.

Then i realized that it had 10 different settings! THEN ONE NIGHT I HAVE IT ON SETTING LIKE #2 AND IM LISTENING TO MUSIC. THEN I NOTICE THE LIGHTS BEGAN TO GO TO MUSIC!!!!!!

so then i muted the music and they stopped blinking..but i was sitting there saying "wow harris (my friend) if those go to-" ..THEN I NOTICED THAT THEY WERE STILL GOING.

SETTING NUMBER 2 GOES TO SOUND WITHIN THE CAR. if you shut the door they'll flash to that sound
u talk to it, they talk right back!

its insane. so if anyone's looking for a cool mod. def get this LED tube.

 

I don't know i think it would get annoying after a while but a nice little interior light under the backseat would be nice though. I would probably shoot for a more suttle color though.

 

what's the power source? installation requires what?

 

well. RIP those. since there is no defined place under my RX's back seat to mount a 20" long tube, I superglued it right in the middle of the seats, but too the metal bars that the seats r on. and yesterday i went to fold the seats down. one at a time. that means the tube went like / and cracked.

so yea..i'm gunna get new one's, probably green so i can have them on all the time instead of blue which is illegal. but i have blue led's upfront so i dunno.

anyway, installation takes the power of your eyes and hands and that's about it haha! very simple. comes with screws if you wanna screw it somewhere. power=cigarrette lighter. or you could splice the wires and run it up to ur fuse. but keep in mind it comes with that controller, so running the wires all the way from back to front may be a stretch. although ill take a look, but im kind of thinking the wires were pretty long, just by what i remember having to hide haha...
