Yup, I concur that they're around 5000K, maybe a little under (warmer) than that.

I was planning to change all the interior lights to LED, but I heard that warm light is suppose to be better on your face or something ... did anyone look uglier after the light change?

I can't tell if you're joking, but no, the LEDs didn't make me uglier. LEDs are much brighter so it might make flaws in your skin more obvious.

I think i used to be uglier. The switch must have made handsome because every time I go out all the girls want a ride back with me.

I'm only half serious. Just jk about the ugly part. I read that warm halogen color light best complements the natural skin color, but I never compare it with how LED lights look. It's nice to know LED lights has that effect on girls

I think you mean the temperature color. Switching the LED, depending on the the color temp is, will change it.

For instance, the white one which is about 6000K, will give the appearance of more the cold feeling, which is probably what you're describing as ugly ha ha!

Not I am not sure if there are LED's of this type for a car which are the the lower which could give the warm look of the halogen if someone were looking for that.

On a side note. I do know warm LED colors do exist for home lightning because I have 2700K LED BR30 flood type used outside the house because I purchased them.

I've heard that argument about warmer ambient light resulting in more photogenetic pictures. That said, if this is a serious concern you'd be best off leaving your stock halogen bulbs in place.

I just wanted to know what's the best color temp to get for the map, dome, vanity, puddle lights so I can match it up with the stock led's that comes inside the car.

I would say the white one (most likely it is 6000K), and should be good to go.

JLC and VLED are two good choices to go with.

If you're trying to match the stock LED reading lights, 5000K is your best bet. 6000K is too blue.
